Description

Circa 1860. 2-storey, 4-bay rectangular-plan symmetrical double villa with unfortunate to N and service wing recessed to S; No 32 subdivided. Squared and snecked sandstone; cream ashlar to W. Base, dividing band and eaves courses; deep cornice with stone brackets; panelled surrounds to openings.

W ENTRANCE elevation: tripartite doorways in outer bays; panelled doors; plate glass fanlights; tripartite windows with narrow side lights at 1st floor above. Tripartite windows in 2nd and 3rd bays. 2-storey flat-roofed addition to outer left with contrasting ashlar facade and rendered side; small-pane window to jettied 1st floor. 2-storey flat-roofed service wing recessed to outer right; bipartite window at 1st floor; mutuled cornice and blocking course. Small-pane sash and case windows. grey slate roof; deeply corniced wallhead and mutual stacks; moulded cans; single box dormer to W.

INTERIORS: not seen 1991.

Low saddleback wall to street; high coped mutual boundary walls.
