Circa 1830, style of William Robertson. Tall 2-storey and
attic house over raised basement, 3 bays. Tooled ashlar
frontage, rubble gables, harled rear, ashlar margins.
Centre entrance with corniced and pilastered doorpiece
approached by flight of steps with palmette balustered
cast-iron handrail. Mainly; 2-pane glazing; 2 small piended
dormers at rear. Corniced and panelled end stacks;
concrete tiled roof.
Appears on Ray's map of Elgin, 1838. Unfortunate modern
glazing to 1 rear window.
