Description

A and W Reid, 1856. Former bank building with Renaissance
details. 3-storey, 3 bays to both High Street and North
Street with modern shop front to High Street; channelled
ashlar ground floor to North Street. Painted ashlar 1st
and 2nd floor facades and rusticated quoins. Moulded
lugged architraves to all windows, at 1st floor with
alternate segmental and triangular pediments; cill bands
linking windows, with blind balustrade below those to
1st floor on North Street, bracketted cornice; corniced
stacks; piended slate roof.
