Description

Circa 1835. Possibly William Robertson. 2-storey, 3-bay
house with centre fluted and pilastered doorpiece. Finely
dressed coursed rubble, raised tooled margins; rubble
flanks. 2-storey, single bay extension to N gable of
1914; panelled and corniced end stacks; slate roof.
Long windows to garden front (E) at ground floor, with
lying pane glazing; 4-pane glazing in street frontage.
High rubble garden walls.

Dated 1914. This datestone refers to extension.

Appears on Ray's map of Elgin, 1838. Deeds from 1838.

King Street opened 1830.
