Description

Circa 1827, style of William Robertson. 2-storey and attic
house, 3-bay with pilastered centre doorpiece approached
by flight of steps oversailing raised basement. Coursed
rubble, finely tooled dressings; harled flanks and rear
elevation. Band course at ground floor level; eaves
course; 12-pane glazing. 3 canted dormers, the central
later and the other pair having lying-pane glazing with
margins to centre light. Coped end stacks; slate roof.
Near symmetrical fenestration to plain rear elevation with
stone margins; 4 piended dormers set back in roof.
Low coped front garden wall.
