Description

Mid/late 19th century in present form but with earlier
core; L-plan range of single storey and attic converted
from stable and carriage range. Long symmetrical
elevation with bays 2,1,2,2,1,2, single bays gabled;
gabled wellhead dormers in remaining bays; return
elevations with door in moulded architrave and irregular
fenestration. Entered by pointed-arched pend with
dovecot above, giving onto paved and cobbled court.
Harled with stone margins; coped stacks; slate roof.

Square completed by rear of Newmill House and rear of

Garvald. Divided into various dwellings.
