Description

George Petrie, 1861-3 with late 19th century addition.
2-storey, 3-bay house with late 19th century porch and
flanking bay windows. Tooled rubble, extensive use of
polished ashlar dressings. Centre entrance with large
decoratively glazed windows flanked by slightly set back
tripartites all linked by balustraded wallhead with
bracketted cornice and ball finials. Englarged ground
floor window and 2 1st floor windows in W (street) gable.
2- and 4-pane glazing. Long and short quoins; eaves
band. Corniced end wallhead stacks; piended slate roof.
Rear wing.
Coped garden walls; ashlar gatepiers with shallow
pyramical cope flank pedestrian entrance, linked by
cast-iron overthrow with 'St Brendons' incorporated.
