Early 19th century. 2 2-storey 3-window ashlar blocks, central recessed 1-window section with semi-elliptical pond arch, in and out voussoirs; quoin ends, roundel skew-ends, shops mainly original but altered in mid-Victorian times at No 42; original woodwork and fanlight at No 48.
