1879, enlarged c. 1910 Tudor-Gothic; large U plan block, snecked rubble with polished ashlar dressings, slated. Symmetrical front to West:
2 storey centre block at ground floor four-centred entrance under square hood-mould, narrow segmental headed window at either side, above is a pair of lancets under single four-centred head, truncated belfry at apex of gable supported on paired corbels flanking shield with date, rectangular brick stack with corbelled cope at ridge. Single-storey pavilions to North and South with stepped centre tripartites under hood-mould, louvred ventilator at apex of gable. Linking wings to centre block have paired tripartites. North and South pavilions return to West as wings. The South wing was tripartites and stumps of brick chimneys at wallhead flanking lower gabled outshot to South containing entrance to former Infants School; Second, taller gabled projection at West end formerly terminated this wing, later extended to West in near matching style. North wing is similar without later extension. Both wings have
square, louvred ventilator fleches.
