Description

Late 18th century. 2-storey and laigh floor coursed rubble,
6-window at 1st floor, ground floor 8 window and 2 doors with
railed stairs at intermediate level. Stone slates.

Statement of Interest

Interesting late 18th/early 19th century group, typical of

Forfar. The roadway has retained its original stone setts

which add much to its character. Nos 43-79 and 64-162 are mid

Victorian with railed forestairs but are mostly inferior in

proportion and detail; Nos. 53-63 have been spoilt.
