Description

A Marshall Mackenzie (Aberdeen) 1912-14. Late Scots gothic,
cruciform, red snecked rubble, details culled from Elgin,
Aberdeen Greyfriars, St. Monance and other sources. 5-bay
nave with aisles, W. bay blind with vaulted S. porch,
contains narthex and organ chamber over; aisleless transepts
and one-bay presbytery, low central tower and squat spire
interior: round arched arcades on circular piers, waggon roof
groined at clerestory windows. Stained glass of outstanding
interest by Douglas Strachan.
