Circa 1900. 2-storey, 5-bay range of shops and residential
premises. Ashlar. Original shop fronts with curved windows at
angles to recessed doors in Nos 38, 38a, and 40, No 34
altered. Original fascias and continuous cornice above.
Symmetrical 1st floor; outer and central bays with block
cornice, central with bipartite, divided by shallow recessed
canted bays with parapets rising to central pediment. End and
ridge stacks, slate roof.
