Description

Circa 1852 astylar terrace of tenements. 3-storey; 18
bays; 12 bay return elevation to 15-19 Glasgow Street
similarly detailed. Polished ashlar, channelled at
ground; stonecleaned. Main door entrances with pilaster
doorpiece deeply recessed door with pilastered jambs and
fanlight. Above doorpiece cornice a band of blind arcade
detail. All upper windows architraved; corniced at 1st
floor. 1st 4 bays (No. 20) also pedimented. Sash
windows, 12-pane glazing. Band course over ground;
string course at 1st floor cills; eaves cornice. Tall
wallhead stacks with scrolled base; axial stacks; slate
roofs.
