Statement of Interest

Adjoined to earlier warehouse, reinstated by Thomson and Sandilands after fire damage in 1927, itself now demolished. 1934 work commissioned by Glen and Davidson Ltd. Listed category B as relatively intact and typical example of 1930s design, by pre-eminent Glasgow architects of these years. Formerly numbered as No 41 Glassford Street. Glassford Court is a residential conversion occupying the upper floors of the original 1934 warehouse and its modern addition to the South. The residential element is entered through No 83 Wilson Street.
