Duncan McNaughtan, circa 1884, redeveloped behind the facade. Venetian-style commercial building. 4 storeys with reconstructed ground floor shop. 6 windows and entrance ground floor, 3 bays of paired lights on upper floors. Arched pilastered entrance with sculpted consoles, keyblock, and cornice. 1st floor elliptically arched pilastrade ground floor cornice with Corinthian capitals; recessed 2-light Romanesque windows with column mullions and incised frieze. 2nd floor moulded cill band; pilastrade with plain entablature; central colonettes and responds; shallow arched heads. 3rd floor moulded cill band; semi-engaged Corinthian colonnade with antae. Romanesque arcaded windows.
Entablature with main modillion cornice. Single return bay to N repeating main elevation.
Formerly Lord Kelvin's Warehouse. Listed for interest of surviving facade.
