Description

Circa 1854. 4-storey classical tenement, 5 x 16 bays; ground
floor shops in 5 x 8 bays, some original. Kelvingrove Street
bays arranged 8 x 8, stepped in slope. Ashlar, channelled
with flat voussoirs at No 4 Kelvingrove Street. Pilastered,
corniced close entry at No 12 Kelvingrove Street. Sash and
case windows mainly 12-pane glazing; altered to leaded T-pane
casements at 1st floor 5 x 3 corner section (N end
Kelvingrove Street). Ground floor fascia, cornice over
pilastered shop at N; 1st floor cill band, corniced windows
in lugged architraves; 2nd floor windows with lugged
architraves and cill band; 3rd floor recessed margins, cill
band. Eaves cornice; parapet. Corniced, axial stacks. Slate
roof.
