Description

Circa 1855. 3-storey and basement tenement on corner. 12
x 14 bays. Polished ashlar, channelled at ground floor.
Sash and case windows, mainly 12-pane glazing. Basement
altered to ground floor shops in Rose Street. Ground
floor cill band.
ELEVATION TO ROSE STREET: 4th bay from N blind at 1st
and 2nd floor. Ground floor cornice band. 1st floor
windows corniced, architraved; 3rd floor windows in
margins on cill band. Main cornice; blocking course.
Corniced wallhead stack.
ELEVATION TO BUCCLEUCH STREET: bays arranged 9-5, stepped
in slope. 1st bay from E blind, 2nd bay blind at 2nd
floor. Detailing as Rose Street. Corniced wallhead stack.
End stacks. Slate roof.
