Description

Circa 1855. 4-storey classical tenement with modern
ground floor shops, 14 bays. Ashlar, partly painted.
All windows sash and case in architraves. Modern ground
floor shops. Ground floor cornice, partially dentilled.
Mainly 8-pane glazing. 1st, 6th 10th, and 11th bays
from E with tripartite stone mullioned windows with
corbels, consoles, and cornices on 1st and 2nd floors;
plain on 3rd floor. Other bays with symmetrically
arranged single light windows, corniced and consoled
on 1st floor, corniced only on 2nd floor, plain on 3rd
floor, 3rd floor cill band. Mutule eaves cornice. Ridge
stacks. Slate roof.
