Description

GATE LODGES: Pair of single storey gate lodges (linking gateway now removed), down slope to N of Enquiry block. Moulded string course above lintels, blind corniced parapet. Shallow piended-roof.

N ELEVATION: handed, 4-light canted bay to outside, narrow bay with single window at gate-side; canted bay with stepped segmental pediment at centre of parapet with key-hole motif.

S ELEVATION: outer bay advanced with mullioned bipartite (inner light altered to form doorway), inner bay with single window as N elevation.

GATE-SIDE ELEVATIONS: doorway at centre flanked by vestigial

stonework from gate-way. E Lodge with commemorative iron plaque.
