Description

17th century L-plan house, probably dated by 1631 fireplace lintel; 18th and 19th century additions all removed 1983 reducing house to original size but altered in conversion to flats and roughly doubled in size by further L-plan addition on W gable. Rubble-built, chamfered ashlar margins, crowstepped gables, slate roofs. 2-storeys with attic, square stair turret in re-entrant angle. 4 regular south facing bays look 17th century, 3 windows (of 4) in E gable also look original - crowsteps above are altered. Otherwise openings in jamb look mainly 19th century, door is 20th century. Stacks not original.
