Description

John Bennie Wilson, 1907, as Cathcart UF Church; hall to left by John Hamilton, 1899, and each with buttressed flank to street. All red snecked bull-faced ashlar, polished dressings, traceried windows; slate roofs. Perpendicular gothic.

CHURCH: has 2-storey flank elevations with outer gables, street elevation with 2-storey porch right, side aisle linked to flush transept left, pencil tower in re-entrant angle.

HALL: has narrow link to church at right, square porch left with pyramidal roof enclosed by parapet.

Gabletted gatepiers to street, decorative wrought-iron railings on low walls.

Statement of Interest

Builder November 12th, 1898. Housing conversion completed 2006.
