Description

Circa 1840. Late classical Painted ashlar at 8, 3-
storeys, shops at ground floor mainly modern encroach-
ing on first floor windows at 24 but Corinthianesque
doorpiece survives at 12. 14 window elevation above,
first floor windows corniced, 2nd floor crossette
architraves, and eaves band course, cornice and blocking
course. Slated roof and corniced ashlar stacks. Original
second floor glazing upper sashes 1st floor and all of
2nd at 8-18, reglazed 20, 22 and arched and circled
Edwardian glazing at 24. Rectangular rear stair
projection at 12.
