Alexander Cullen, 1931. Single storey, rectangular-plan classically-detailed former bank on corner site. Channelled cream sandstone ashlar, rendered side and rear elevation, deep black marble base course and window aprons, corniced parapet, flat roof. CADZOW STREET ELEVATION: advanced moulded panel doorcase with corniced parapet to right, large tripartite window with metal frames recessed in ashlar panel to left; similar single window to splayed angle at far left.
AUCHINGRAMONT ROAD ELEVATION: window to right.
NB, Alexander Cullen is not the Alexander Cullen of Cullen, Lochhead and Brown (d1911), but practised on his own in Hamilton.
