1845. Near symmetrical pair 2-storey, gabled double villa with Regency style painted timber verandah. Cream, grey and red sandstone rubble, ashlar dressings. Base course; raised margins; hoodmoulds; tripartite windows with ashlar mullions; corniced canted windows; bracketted eaves to No 110; bargeboard to No 108.
N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: broad recessed gabled bay to centre, advanced gabled bays flanking. 4 bays at ground to centre recess spanned by decorative iron verandah, divided at centre by abutting boundary wall with pedestrian gate; window to right, doorway to outer right (entrance to No 108 with panelled door and half- glazed vestibule door), mirror image to left of centre (entrance to No 110 with 2-leaf boarded doors and half- glazed vestibule door). Tripartite window at 1st floor. Window at ground and 1st floor to outer right; modern single storey garage and wing abutting. Corniced canted window at ground to outer left, window at 1st floor;
modern single storey flat-roofed wing abutting.
S (REAR) ELEVATION: M-gabled centrepiece; No 108 to left with door to left, canted window to right; 2 windows at 1st floor. Single storey wing to outer left. No 110 to right with tripartite window to left, window (former door) to right; 2 windows at 1st floor. Low 2-storey wing to right, door to left, window to right, 2 gabled dormerheaded windows breaking eaves at 1st floor. Single storey, 2-bay former fisherman's cottage attached to wing. Sandstone rubble. Openings altered, now 2 windows to S; gable apex stack to W. Pitched/slate roof.
12-lying-pane sash and case windows to N elevation; plate glass and 4-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate roof to No 108; modern tiled roof to No 110; ashlar corniced stacks with original cans. Gabled dormer to No 108.
INTERIOR: No 110; corniced rooms at ground; marble chimneypiece to hall and dining room; iron balustered stair.
BOUNDARY WALLS AND GATES: red and grey sandstone walls; attractive early 20th century timber gate to No 110.
STABLES: red brick, gabled 2-storey rectangular-plan stables and hayloft, later single storey wing (now garage) abutting to north with double doors in W elevation. S elevation; door to left, 2 windows to right. W elevation; window at ground and 1st floor. Wing to N. E elevation; semi-circular headed opening to left, now blocked; semi-circular window to centre, now blocked. Grey slate roof; bargeboard.
Original double villa of particular interest, presently marred by regrettable additions and alterations.
