Description

1856. Italianate; tall 3-storey over raised basement, 3 bays.
Coursed tooled rubble, polished ashlar dressings; rubble
flanks. Pilastered and corniced doorpiece in left (east)
outer bay; corniced windows in ground floor; segmental pediments
to 1st floor windows, tripartite in centre bays all linked by
cill course; moulded jambs to all windows, panelled aprons to
ground and 1st floor. Single storey over raised basement, single
bay wing with bipartite at west gable, detailed as ground floor.
Moulded eaves band; deep bracketted eaves; corniced end stacks;
piended slate roof.
