bays with centre Roman Doric portico. Rear wing with
bow at north elevation. Venetian window at 1st floor of
bow. Rusticated quoins. Slated roof.
A farmhouse appears at this site on Roy's Military Map of 1745-1755 (NLS). The house was the property of plantation owner Robert Gordon by 1803, and enlarged as shown on the 1810 'Plan of the Lands of Drakies' (NRS). Possibly following a further change of hands, considerable repairs and alterations were carried out in 1833 (Inverness Journal).
