1817. 2-storey and attic 3-bay house. Harled (removed to front) with painted ashlar margins and cills.
N (STREET ELEVATION): 2-storey 3-bay, regular fenestration; door at centre with rectangular fanlight. Harl removed 1992 exposing coursed rubble; long and short cement quoins and cills created.
S (GARDEN) ELEVATION: 3-storey and attic 3-bay; lower level. 6-pane glazed door at centre, window to left, both with small square windows above; 20-pane newly inserted French windows to right. Otherwise blank; 3 skylights to roof.
E ELEVATION: gabled, blank at ground, single window to both upper floors to far left, window in gablehead to right; gablehead stack.
W ELEVATION: blank, gablehead window to left; gablehead stack.
4-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slates, coped skews.
It is surprising to find the house built of such good quality rubble, but is still seems very unlikely that it was not always harled, and as such its recent removal is to be regretted. Single storey lean-to addition to rear approved 1992.
