Description

Later 18th century. 3-storey 6-bay harled Inn with gabled wings in close to rear. Painted ashlar dressings; windows to all bays. 2 taller left bays recessed and closely grouped with door at ground to centre (redundant) adjoining window to left and narrow door to right, only right door in use; upper windows hard under eaves. Advanced block with 4 bays grouped to right; painted margined ashlar angle; 3 irregular windows at ground, with narrow pend to Veitch's Close at far right; band course above. Pair of adjoining gabled jambs to rear, 3-storey to N. 2-storey to S (ground falling to N).

12-pane timber sash and case windows to recessed bays, 4-pane to others. Beak skewputt at angle; rubble stacks, one with brick rebuilding; grey slates.
