Description

Mid 19th century. Pair N facing houses with shop. Coursed
rubble, contrasting tooled sandstone dressings. One 3-bay
house with symmetrical front (no 16) and one 2-bay with
tripartite shop window and return gable extending into single
storey and attic, 2-bay wing fronting Nelson Terrace (no 18)
with gabletted 1st floor windows.
Bracketted corniced doorways to both houses; 4-pane glazing.
Coped end and ridge stacks; shaped skewputts; slate roofs.
