18th century. 2-storey, rectangular-plan small tenement with curved forestair. Harl. Chamfered arrises.
N (TOWNHEAD) ELEVATION: No 7 with modern timber door to right of centre, windows in flanking bays and 2 small windows at 1st floor. Door to No 9 in bay to right of centre with flanking windows at ground. Forestair with barleytwist cast-iron railings leading to No 6 with timber door at 1st floor and 2 windows to right.
W (BARCLAY ROAD) ELEVATION: blank gabled elevation with high boundary wall abutting at left.
E ELEVATION: flat-roofed garage to ground (see Notes) with window to left of centre in gablehead.
Plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows retained to No 7. Pantiles with slate eaves easing course. Coped squared rubble stacks with some cans, thackstanes to gablehead stacks, and ashlar-coped skews.
BOUNDARY WALLS: high flat-coped rubble, and low dry-dashed boundary walls.
Former straight forestair at W end removed and site masked by flat-roofed addition.
