Description

Early 19th century possibly with earlier work inside.
2-storey former workhouse. Original gable end formerly to
street frontage, demolished in later 19th century and
set back. Rebuilt with crowstepped gable, rendered and
lined. 2 windows to each storey with door and small window
above in gable end. North elevation: 2 wide bays, one to
west recessed. South elevation: 3 windows and central
door. Straight skews to west, end and axial stacks. Slate
roof.

On site of 17th century Grammar School.
