Description

1829. Classical bank building. 2 storeys, 3 bays with 1
bay addition to west. Polished ashlar, with black marble
plinth circa 1930. Original building with central door
and shallow projecting portico supported by outer piers
and fluted Doric columns; entablature and blocking course
above. All windows with architraves. Band course between
ground and 1st floor. Main cornice and blocking course.
Western addition in shallow recess, paired windows to
ground floor, 1 window above breaking through band course.
Double M, slate roof. Blocking course to stacks.
