Description

C Davidson and Sons, 1935. 1930's modern large single storey
cafe block occupying corner site. White-rendered framed
construction base, partly red brick partly black granite;
large windows, bays divided by stepped tall buttresses
bearing flagpoles, shop on canted corner with parapet and
sign raised over; concealed roof. Main cafe entrance
recessed on Greenock Road elevation, with platform area for
outdoor seating. Eastmost wide bay of south (Nelson St)
elevation fronts restaurant.
Important, little-altered interior.
