Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey villa, with openings mainly
pointed or shallow-arched. Bull-faced red ashlar with
polished dressings and strings. 3-bay W elevation has canted
ground floor window in advanced left gable, inner entrance
bay shallow advanced from main wall-plane and carried a
storey higher, with steep French roof with flanking stacks
and iron cresting. Mullioned, almost circular ground floor
window at SW angle. Corniced stacks; slated roof with
complex plan, cresting and finials. Long asymmetrical N and
S flanks, porch on latter. Sash windows.
Ashlar-built boundary wall to main road and 2 pairs
gatepiers.
