Description

Earlier 19th century with later alterations. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay house in irregular terrace on ground falling to rear. Sandstone ashlar to front (delaminating in places) with recent lined render refacing at ground, squared rubble to rear. Blocking course.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: entrance to centre, 4-panel door, rectangular fanlight, window centre above at 1st floor. Bays flanking; window at ground floor, timber-mullioned tripartite windows at 1st floor, 2 small sunken piended dormers. Scroll-shouldered wallhead stack off-set to right.

N ELEVATION: adjoining 22 Bridge Street.

S ELEVATION: adjoining 26 Bridge Street.

Timber sash and case windows, plate glass. Graded grey slate pitched roof, coped skews. Brick gablehead stacks.

BOUNDARY WALLS: rubble boundary walls to rear (W).
