Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 4-bay tenement in irregular terrace with pilastraded ground floor. Stugged sandstone ashlar, painted at ground. Frieze and Cornice above ground floor, eaves cornice and blocking course with raised central panel. Chamfered margins at ground floor.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical. 7-bay divided by pilasters; pend entrance to centre, 3-bay shopfronts to left and right each with central door, rectangular fanlight and flanking plate glass windows. 1st floor; 4 windows regularly disposed. 2 small piended dormers breaking pitch above outer bays.

N ELEVATION: adjoining 51 - 57 Bridge Street.

S ELEVATION: adjoining 65 - 69 Bridge Street.

Plate glass windows, timber sash and case and casement. Grey slate pitched roof, coped skews. Brick gablehead stacks on party walls.
