Description

Bellman-type hangar, designed 1937, this example erected in that year. Large and rectangular-plan, sliding aircraft doors full length of each gable. Clad in corrugated iron.

Statement of Interest

Montrose is the oldest military airfield in Scotland being used from 1912.
