Description

Circa 1800, 2 storey L plan block, 3 bays with 4-bay arm having
gabled end to High Street with later 19th century 2-bay shop
front. Harled, painted stone margins, ashlar shop front. No
79: openings to centre bay now blocked, projecting square
porch at re-entrant angle with shouldered lintel, side lights
and shaped parapet. Some 12-pane glazing; single later 19th
century gabled wallhead dormer on NE elevation; end and
wallhead stacks. No 79A, 2 bay shop front with modern glazing
at ground floor; symmetrical ashlar 1st floor facade; paired
angle pilaster strips supporting cornice; pediment with
(blank) plaque and small raised semi-circular apex pediment.
