Description

Early 19th century. Pair of 2-storey, 3-bay houses, no 51
with attic. Painted droved ashlar with polished dressings.
Raised strip at centre between houses. Contrasting painted
base course and cills. Pilastered and corniced doorpieces
with blocks over that of no 51 at left, that of no 55 at
centre. 8-pane sashes to no 51; 12-pane to no 55. Eaves
band. Slate roof with rendered stacks and canted and
piended dormer to no 51.
