Description

David Morison 1824, as Marshall's Monument, classic ashlar rotunda with fluted tetrastyle Roman Ionic portico. Dome remodelled 1954. Art Gallery and Museum addition Smart, Stewart and Mitchell, 1931. Single-storey and basement ashlar, large keystoned doorway with relief sculpture above, 4-window to George Street, main cornice and blocking course.

Ionic columned interior, central glazed dome.
