Description

David Smart c.1860. Italianate, asymmetrical composition.
2-storey and basement, 3-storey entrance tower with paired
arched and key blocked windows top stage, broad-eaved pyramid
roof with weather vane on N front. W. front battered
basement, gable with single-storey canted bay on left,
tripartite rectangular bay on right, low pitched broad-eaved
slated roofs with bracketted eaves, rubble-built with quoined
angles. 2-storey flat-roofed modern extension at rear.
Rubble-built garden walls with ashlar gatepiers.
