Description

Circa 1860. 2-storey and dormerless attic, 3-bay house with shop in ground floor. Coursed dark rubble, contrasting tooled sandstone dressings and margins. Doorway to no 40 in right bay; no 42 doorway with large flanking shop windows; 3 1st floor windows with 8-pane

glazing, in sash and case windows. Corniced and panelled end stack; modern Velux roof lights; slate roof; pottery ridge. Wing to rear; modern single storey harled garage projects at N gable.
