Description

Mid-later 19th century. 2-storey terrace of 3 4-bay dwellings (originally paired) continuous with no 6 High Street. Mixed

granite rubble, tooled sandstone ashlar dressings.

No 8 with single doorway and 3 ground floor windows. Nos 10,

12 and 14, 16 each with paired centre doors. Each block with

3 regular 1st floor windows. Tooled ashlar lintel/bandcourse

links ground floor openings; 12-pane glazing. Coped end

and ridge stacks; slate roofs.

Statement of Interest

Terrace restored, together with no 6 High Street, in 1982-3.
