W Simpson jun. (Stirling) 1883. Renaissance. Snecked rubble,

pedimented SE facade of 5 bays, arched windows with alternating pediments, framed in Roman doric pilasters at 1st floor, central swagged consoled, arched and pedimented doorpiece; flanking 1-window sections with consoled and

pedimented 1st floor windows. SW Dunbarton Road front, 6-window recessed central section with arched and swagged consoled doorpiece, arched 1st floor windows, central coats of arms: 2-window advanced and pedimented end bays,

pedimented windows in coupled

pilasters at 1st floor. Balustraded

parapet with heavy swagged urns.

Ornamental cast-iron lamp standards.
