Description

Later Victorian asymmetrical detached Italianate villa.
2-storey snecked rubble. 3-storey entrance tower on W with
square column Roman Doric porch, balustraded steps, N front
has bipartite and left-hand advanced section with canted bay
through both floors W frontage has semi-duodecagonal bay with
bowed roof, tower has stilted arched windows with raised and
channelled voussoirs at ground and first floors, plain
triplets with railed cills at top stage, broad-eaved pyramid
roof swept to steeper pitch at apex. Piended slated roofs
with bracketted eaves and decorative iron finials.
