Description

Late 19th century, Neo-Tudor 2-storey symmetrical snecked
rubble semi-detached villa of unusual design, left hand 2/3
of frontage symmetrical; low central section with arched
doorpiece within rectangular frame, mullioned and panelled
above arched head, 3-light window at 1st between higher
piended sections from which are projected mullioned and
transomed canted bays; right-hand third has simpler projected
doorpiece, tall chimney and octagon-spired corner bay.
Half-timbered gables on flanks, slated roofs.

Statement of Interest

Part of Kings Park Conservation Area group. The area is

an outstanding early to late Victorian villa development with

remarkably few later additions.
