Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 5-bay, rectangular-plan part-terrace of 2 houses (grouped 3-2). Rendered and painted. Projecting cills.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 2-bay house to right with modern timber door to outer right at ground, regular fenestration to remaining ground floor bays, including 3-bay house at left, and at 1st floor; 5 regularly-disposed dormer windows, all piended except that to outer right which has flat-roof and adjoins wallhead.

W ELEVATION: gabled elevation with single window to outer left at ground and 1st floors.

BOUNDARY WALLS: rubble boundary walls to side and rear overlooking shore.

Nos 1, 1A and 2 Old Pier are listed for their survival and their prominent harbour-side position at the heart of Stonehaven's Old Town.
