Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey and attic tenement with shop at ground; round stairtower at rear. Painted bull-faced cement to S elevation with plain painted dressings and base course; harled side and rear elevations. Adjoined to E by 1-3 Bridge Street, and with driveway to W.

S ELEVATION: door at centre, flanked by shop window to left, and larger window to right. 3 irregularly spaced 1st floor windows. 3 flat-roofed, tile-hung dormer addtions.

N ELEVATION: 3-bay. Circular stairblock at centre, door at ground, with tall window and breaking eaves and conically roofed; later lean-to addition adjoined to stairtower to left. Further door to left, flanked by small window; window to right at ground; window to each outer bay at 1st floor.

Blank W elevation to driveway.

Variety of glazing patterns in sash and case windows. End stacks; coped skews. Red tiles; grey to conical roof of stiartower.
