Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey terraced pair of houses, No 38 with modern shop front at ground. Squared asnd coursed masonry, painted; base course and moulded cornice. Steps to doorways.

NO 36: 3-bay ground floor with door to outer right, window to centre and left, and 2 irregularly placed windows at 1st floor. Deep-set door with plate glass fanlight. 4-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows. NO 38: modern shop front at ground. 3 regularly placed 1st floor windows with 12-pane glazing pattern in sash and case form.

Mutual and end gable red sandstone ashlar stacks. Rubbevoid tile roofs; sandstone ridge.
