Description

Circa 1840. 2-storey with attic, 2-bay, rectangular-plan, gabled houses. W facing. Gabled dormerheads breaking eaves. Coursed Caithness stone slabs. Regular fenestration, irregular to rear; doors to centre. Blind gable end to N.

INTERIORS: not seen 2001.

Double-glazed windows. Concrete tiles; coped gable stacks; cast-iron rainwater goods.

The Group listing is in recognition of the exceptional group value of these buildings as the core of Thomas Telford's 1809 scheme for the new town plan of Pulteneytown for the British Fisheries Society.
